Viva artist Angeli Khang said she feels lucky to get another lead role in her second film this year with the new Vivamax original film Mahjong Nights.
Viva artist Angeli Khang said she feels lucky to get another lead role in her second film this year with the new Vivamax original film Mahjong Nights.
“Sobrang nakaka-flatter talaga. Thankfully na-deliver ko lahat, exceeding the expectations nila direk. In Taya, I was so honored to be the leading actress in that movie. Talagang I worked hard para makamit yung expectations ng mga director and I’m thankful na nakamit ko naman yung expectations nila. Sobrang honored ako na second ko pa lang, leading actress na ako agad. And thankful ako na nakamit ko naman yung expectations nila. I’m thankful din na nakita nila yung potential ko and sobrang thankful ako na na-appreciate nila yung efforts ko.

“Nung natanggap ko yung first movie ko I was surprised and I wasn’t ready pero hinanda naman ako ng director and ng workshops. So nung nalaman ko na yung next movie ko erotic pa rin siya. But I’m happy kasi kahit erotic siya meron siyang pinagsisimulan and meron siyang hugot na movie. Kaya it’s not all about that, meron siyang kinakahulugan. So I took the opportunity na ipakita yung kaya kong mapakita sa mga tao,” she shared.

But I’m happy kasi kahit erotic siya meron siyang pinagsisimulan and meron siyang hugot na movie. Kaya it’s not all about that, meron siyang kinakahulugan. So I took the opportunity na ipakita yung kaya kong mapakita sa mga tao,” she shared.

“First, I prepare my mental health kasi going in this kind of scene, I grew up in a conservative family and sabi ng manager ko na get this opportunity na binigay sa akin ng Viva when I just signed a contract. Sabi niya kunin ko itong opportunity na ito and use it as a stepping stone and once na na-overcome ko ito, I’m sure that I can overcome any obstacles that they give to me. To be honest, every part na may sex scenes or something erotic, hindi talaga ako nagiging prepared kahit ilang beses ko na hinahanda yung sarili ko. But with that scene, I make sure to be comfortable with the people that I’m going to be with and thankful naman ako na yung mga nakaka-work ko these past two movies, comfortable sila and super friendly and days pa lang sa shoot nagiging ka-close ko na sila.

Kasi every time na nakikita niya ako sa shoot, hina-high five niya ako and he asks me if I’m okay and kung ready na ba ako and he tells me to just tell him pag ready na ako and then we’ll start the shoot. so sa mga scenes na may sex, pinaalis niya lahat except the cameraman and him and after that, sobrang tatakbo yung mga PA para balutan kami ng tuwalya and it’s just fun na sobrang protective nila sa amin and sobrang alaga kami,” she recalled.
