Jose Mari said he partly owes this surge in popularity to his being an endorser of a popular online shopping platform.

Apart from the glittering lights around me and the beautiful music and the joyful prayer time, Christmas to me is a time for reflection. Reflection on the months that have just passed, the year that has just passed. That’s the best for me. Time for reconciliation with those that we have hurt, time for strengthening our family ties. And I always remember that the spirit of Christmas is giving and sharing. And I’m very happy that Shopee has made it meaningful for all of us,” he explained.

“I told my children and grandchildren this, make a mental list of people and friends that you care about. Make a list and then think about or reflect on the things that they like individually. So perfect time to shop,” he explained.
