“Of course we wanted it to be in the filmfest kaya lang naka-schedule na talaga yung A Hard Day for the MMFF plus I think Vivamax needed a family film para sa Pasko. Kasi alam mo naman dun puro sexy kaya kailangan nila ng pangbata sa Vivamax,” he explained during the Mang Jose mediacon.

“Well it’s not the first time I’m playing a superhero. I played Pedro Penduko twice so bale second time ko na ‘to. Parang imagine-nin niyo na si Pedro Penduko nag-mature na. So my comedy here is much more subtle. Ang pinakamahirap na concern ko dito was the costume because mabigat siya at mainit plus yung helmet nakatakip. Medyo mahirap makipag-fight scene but kinaya naman. Okay lang naman kung bumakat (laughs). The first time I saw the costume I was wowed already. Scene stealer talaga yung costume namin na gawa ng production,” he admitted.

“To be honest, the passion was always there. Wala lang opportunity so I’m very thankful to Viva kasi lahat ng ginagawa ko ngayon is only for Viva. Sila lang yung nag-save ng career ko so I’m very thankful. The passion was always there and I’m blessed na tuloy tuloy ngayon,” he added.
