Jerry Sineneng directs his 25th teleserye for ABS-CBN with ‘La Vida Lena’

With a directing career that has spanned almost three decades, veteran director Jerry Sineneng shared why his latest teleserye La Vida Lena is a very memorable project.“Months and months din ang preparation ng show na ito eh. Hindi siya nabuo in two months’ time. Matagal yung proseso kasi nga we wanted to give the audience a different revenge story. So talagang binusisi talaga.“I think this is my 25th teleserye with ABS-CBN. What makes it different siguro is first project ko ito na revenge story and ganito ka-in-your-face yung revenge niya. Pangit na inapi na idu-dunk sa putik at bumangon ulit. Tapos also yung ensemble cast, yung nakita niyo naman yung lineup ng mga artista. We have the best in their generation. The best of the best. Parang patikim lang siya ng La Vida Lena. Sa 25 na teleseryes na ginawa ko, first time ko ito. First time ko maranasan yung lock-in taping and first time to experience the difficulties and the hardships of a lock-in taping. Hindi siya madali gawin. Limited number of hours ang trabaho, ang daming kailangan makunan. Tapos I think the hardest part there is being away from your family and your loved ones.“Buti na lang nakapag-form kami ng family among ourselves with the cast and the staff and the crew. So nabawasan yung pagkaka-miss mo sa family mo. Napakalaking tulong nun.
