LOOK: ‘Kun Maupay Man It Panahon’ makes world premiere at Locarno Film Festival

<p><em>Kun Maupay Man It Panahon</em>, the film starring Charo Santos and Daniel Padilla, made its world premiere on Monday, August 9, in Locarno, Switzerland.</p><p>The movie, with the international title <em>Whether the Weather Is Fine</em>, is participating in this year&#x27;s Locarno Film Festival as a competing entry in its Concorso Cineasti del presente or Filmmakers of the Present Competition. </p><p>The program offers a selection of first and second feature films—primarily world premieres—directed by emerging global talents.</p><p>Ahead of its world premiere, producer Black Sheep posted on its social media pages a photo of the film&#x27;s director Carlo Francisco Manatad and actress Rans Rifol all dressed up for the said festival. </p><div><iframe allow="autoplay; Quantum Films, Black Sheep, and Globe Studios, with international partner studios in France, Singapore, Indonesia, and Germany.</p><p>After its world premiere, <em>Kun Maupay Man It Panahon</em> will be making its North American premier at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).</p><p>The film will be screened under the festival&#x27;s Contemporary World Cinema section, and is the lone Philippine production in this year&#x27;s lineup.</p><p>The TIFF is taking place from September 9 to 18.</p>
