Rica Peralejo reveals why she has a ‘messy’ house and calls it the ‘beautiful messes of our life!’

<p>With a million followers on her Instagram account, celebrity mom Rica Peralejo is known for sharing personal tips and anecdotes on parenting that she learned from raising her two young sons Philip and Manu with husband pastor Joseph Bonifacio. Last August 10, Rica shared more realizations about her household in one of her latest posts. It is for a couple of reasons, I would think.</p><p>     1. I only have one staff and I would not like to stress out the both of us by making sure all the kalat of the boys are neatly put away every minute of the day.</p><p>     2. The mess makes it uncomfortable for the people in the home. And guess what? It makes them move. They learn to clean up because they themselves feel they don’t like living within a mess that never gets cleaned! So in short: it encourages personal responsibility.</p><p>     3. Mess means the house is alive. People actually use it, live in it, and was not had for display.</p><p>     4. Mess usually means people have created in the space. I would rather be the mom who overlooked the writings on the wall haha than the mom who always said no to everything just because I wanted everything to be picture perfect  </p><p>     Just the other day I overheard my son saying, ‘I have a club.’ And an adult asked him if this were online and he said no and instead, ;I have fortresses under our stairs. That’s where my club is.;  </p><p>     And honestly, that space is always filled with cardboard boxes, paper, blankets, and all other trashy looking things making it not so aesthetically pleasing… but my boy’s got a club in there. He is owning an idea and developing his person and his creativity in that space. She wrote, “But this is &#x27;why I love&#x27; the pandemic. It was the reason why we got stranded halfway around the globe, and only God knew it was what we needed to seal a lifetime’s worth of quality memories. The kind that not only the mind will remember, but even by every cell, every bone of my body, our bodies.”</p>
