Performing together for more than 15 years, Pinoy band Callalily has been one of the most iconic alternative pop-rock bands in the local industry. The longtime band, which are composed of Kean Cipriano on vocals and guitar; Lemuel Belaro on drums; Aaron Ricafrente on Bass; Brylle Balbuena on guitar; and Nathan Reyes on keys and lead guitar announced they were open to collaborating with fresh new artists in the industry.

Last year, indie pop rock group This Band which first gained popularity for their viral hit song ”Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” reached out to Callalily and the six-piece group then pitched their idea to produce a song together which led to the birth of “Bahala Na.” As a band that has only been around for less than four years, This Band said it is honored to be part of the special collaboration. “Bilang isang band na nagsisimula pa lang, isa sa mga pangarap namin ay maka-collab ang isa sa pinaka-magaling na hitmaker sa Pinas,” Euwie Loria, This Band’s rhythm guitarist, said.

“Bahala Na” tells the story about what goes on within a complicated relationship, including all the perplexing emotions generated by a precarious situation. “This song is about two people na isina-bahala na lang kay ‘Bahala’ ang lahat,” said Euwie.

Describing the creative process of ‘Bahala Na’ a ‘very collaborative,’ ‘spontaneous,’ and ‘smooth, Callalily’s vocalist Kean Cipriano added, “Masakit ‘tong kanta. Masakit maging ‘bahala na.’”
