Lea Salonga to be a presenter at the 74th Tony Awards in New York 

Lea Salonga will be attending this year's Tony Awards.

The Broadway star announced on Twitter that she will be one of the presenters at the awarding ceremony.

"The cat's out of the bag! I'll be presenting at @TheTonyAwards on Sunday!!!" she posted.

The  event will be held at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York on September 26 (US time).

The official Twitter account of Tony Awards also posted, "The stars! The glamour! The performances! Even more names plus top musical moments are announced for Sunday's #TonyAwards. See it all LIVE on @paramountplus and @CBS."

Lea Salonga returns to New York: ‘It feels so good to be back’

Aside from Lea, other stars attending the event include John Legend, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Lindsay Mendez, among others.

It was on September 18 when Lea shared via social media that she had returned to New York.

"Thanks for the warm welcome, New York, it feels good to be back," she posted.

Lea is a Tony award winner who bagged the Best Actress award in 1991 for her role as Kim in Miss Saigon.
