Hunk actor Zanjoe Marudo started his showbiz career when he won as the 4th Big Placer of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1 in 2006.

Let’s take a look back on how Zanjoe achieved his success in the showbiz industry.

Following his PBB stint, the actor-model starred in various Kapamilya TV projects such as Aalog-Alog, and Super Inggo.

The next year, he became part of the primetime bida series titled Kokey.

It was then followed by another role for the TV Series Dyosa with Anne Curtis, Sam Milby and Luis Manzano.

In 2009, Zanjoe became part of the TV series Parekoy.

During the same year, he also became part of the gag show Banana Split, and starred in another teleserye titled The Wedding with Anne Curtis.

He also portrayed the character of Martin Barrameda in the Pinoy adaptation of the South Korean drama series Lovers in Paris.

In 2013, Zanjoe was chosen as one of the main cast of the series Annaliza.

It was then followed by another TV show titled Dream Dad, together with Jana Agoncillo.

In 2016, he played the role of Natoy in the hit teleserye Tubig at Langis.

Aside from these TV series, he also played different roles for the drama anthology show Maalaala Mo Kaya.

His acting performance in the MMK episode Anino got him nominated for the category of 'Best Performance by an Actor' at the 2017 International Emmy Awards.

Also in 2017, he starred in My Dear Heart, portraying the role of the biological dad of main protagonist Heart De Jesus played by Nayomi Ramos.

The projects continued to pour in for Zanjoe. After My Dear Heart, he starred in another TV series titled Playhouse alongside actress Angelica Panganiban. The show ran from 2018 to 2019.

In 2020, he played the role of BG on the iWant Originals program My Single Lady.

Aside from that, he also became part of the primetime action-drama Walang Hanggang Paalam that ran from 2020 to 2021.

This 2022, viewers will soon see him in the highly anticipated Filipino adaptation of the British drama series Doctor Foster titled The Broken Marriage Vow.

In this show, he will portray the role of David Ilustre, the husband of Dr. Jill Valdicano-Ilustre played by Jodi Sta.Maria.
