“This single Nepal video was arguably the most difficult video to produce to date and getting millions of people to watch these carefully crafted mini documentaries that promote a meaningful cause is the highest accomplishment I can achieve as a content creator. Capture with entertainment (the bait 😜), leave with life lessons and a greater appreciation for life and the beauties that planet earth beholds. Mission accomplished,” he added.

“Congrats to @camerawalebhaiya of 🇮🇳 & @_juanesvelez of 🇨🇴 for their award winning videos and making equally powerful pieces that embellish what content creation is all about! If you haven’t seen them yet, check our WVC videos and learn more about the melting glaciers of Everest and how climate change has devastated not only the locals of Nepal but the entire world. The entire ceremony and my full speech of the @worldvlogchallenge Awarding is on my Facebook page!” he continued.

“I feel high. I don’t know why. Awards ceremonies freak me out. I got so scared when I got on stage. The jitters never go away and I guess it just means that I really care about what I do. As a content creator, it’s extremely difficult to make a piece that is both entertaining and meaningful and that has an impact on the world,” he said.

“It’s something I think I and many creators struggle with. Because it’s easy to be entertaining and get a lot of views. And it’s easy to make a piece that’s informative but it’s really difficult to bind those two together. So the amount of work it took to create this vlog was easily more than month including the two weeks of hiking, the weeks in the editing cave, the weeks of writing, and to receive a recognition like this, it means a lot,” he added.

“I was getting emotional because there’s so much that we all went through during that hike in the Himalayas. So much mentally, physically, emotionally. A lot of tears were shed. There’s a lot of stuff personally I was going through that I never really shared,” he said.

“Just to be here, it’s an honor. And getting the point across about climate change and the whole purpose of this thing is to get as many eyeballs as we can on things that matter in this world,” he added.
