I used to be a heavy smoker and I love black coffee in the morning, before meals</em>.”</p><p>His most common symptoms, he described, were heartburn and vomiting. Medical News Today defines acid reflux as something that, “happens when some of the acid content of the stomach flows up into the esophagus.” It’s usually accompanied by a feeling of heartburn or a burning sensation in the chest area.</p><p>Aside from taking antacids, which are mostly over the counter medicines that help relieve acid reflux, IC shared that he took necessary steps to alleviate his symptoms. He revealed that he has also stopped smoking for five years now. He said, “<em>I don&#x27;t skip meals, I quit smoking and I eat moderately.
