Rachelle Ann Go has really settled into her role as a wife and a mother.

Rachelle and husband Martin Spies met in 2017 and exchanged “I dos” on April 18, 2018 in Boracay. Their son was born in March 2021.

“What if I’m not ready to be a mama yet?” Rachelle Ann once asked herself.

Despite her apprehension, she opened herself up to God’s will and before long, she was holding baby Lukas Judah in her arms.

It wasn’t an easy birth, with her having to endure long labor pains. And yet, she is able to look back and remember it as being a blessed moment.

"I had such an amazing birthing experience!” she shared. “I was so scared of giving birth before but after going through it, I realized God made it possible for us to do this. My big take away is FAITH over fear. God will meet us at the level of our faith."

Her baby’s name itself is a reminder of God’s grace. Lukas means “bringer of light”, while Judah means "let Him be praised."

Rachelle Ann quickly embraced life as a mom. She would often share snapshots of her moments with Lukas. When she went back to work on the West End, she made sure that she still made time for her son, even bringing him along during a Les Miserables concert.

“To all the working mamas out there, grabe saludo ako sa inyo! How do you work with no sleep and be a mama at the same time?” she asked. “Well it’s amazing that we can do it right? I only did 6 shows and enjoyed every second of it but I think I’m staying home with Lukas for now.”

It seems that being a wife and a mother are still Rachelle Ann’s favorite roles.

Early this year, Rachelle Ann brought Lukas home to the Philippines where he was pampered to his heart’s content.

“Lukas is celebrating his 10 month in the Philippines,” she shared on Instagram. “He is getting spoiled by everyone! Saya saya niya!”

Lukas celebrated his first birthday in Dubai, then again in London a few days later.

“We will celebrate you everyday! Thank you for bringing so much light and joy. We love you so much!” Rachelle Ann.

“My greatest accomplishment would be, one is pushing him out, and probably when he hit his first year as well, thinking that we managed to do it for a year as parents,” she shared.

To see Lukas grow up makes Rachelle Anne one happy mama.

“I think just seeing him every day, that’s basically an accomplishment for me,” she said. “Seeing him healthy and happy, that’s such a big thing for me."

As their little family welcomes the last month of the year, so are they preparing to welcome baby number two.

On her Instagram account, Rachelle Ann shared photos of her, Lukas, and Martin spending some quality time by the beach. She also revealed her baby bump.

“Hello December! Hello Baby #2!” she captioned the post.

It won’t be long before Rachelle Ann has another little one in her arms. Lukas will soon be a kuya.
