Reprising his role as Randall Echavez in He’s Into Her Season 2 this year, actor Jeremiah Lisbo said the cast will go through more complicated challenges in their lives in the latest installment of Wattpad’s successful book series.

“Naku sobrang excited na kami dahil hindi biro ang pinagdaanan namin sa proyektong ito. Kaya kung kami na gumagawa ng proyektong ito ay excited, paano pa kaya yung mga manunuod? So ang dapat nila abangan sa aking character na si Randall Echavez ay paano ba siya mag-ko-cope up sa napagdaanan niyang pain na hindi niya nakuha yung pangarap at hindi niya nakuha yung mahal niya sa buhay?” he shared.
“Naku sobrang excited na kami dahil hindi biro ang pinagdaanan namin sa proyektong ito. Kaya kung kami na gumagawa ng proyektong ito ay excited, paano pa kaya yung mga manunuod? So ang dapat nila abangan sa aking character na si Randall Echavez ay paano ba siya mag-ko-cope up sa napagdaanan niyang pain na hindi niya nakuha yung pangarap at hindi niya nakuha yung mahal niya sa buhay?” he shared.
Jeremiah explained how hard it was for his character in the new season and revealed how affected he was long after they finished working on the set during the more dramatic scenes.

“Sobrang hirap (laughs). Dahil hindi biro yung pinagdadaanan ni Randall. Sabi ko kanina yung challenge and struggle niya, yung pag-ko-cope niya sa nangyari sa season 1. Eh talagang hinagpis eh. Wasak yung tao. At sobrang bigat. Hindi ko nga alam kung minsan nga pag nasa free time or wala akong shooting, dala dala ko pa din eh. Kaya hindi ko alam minsan na-mi-misinterpret ako ng mga kasamahan ko sa trabaho. Hindi lang dahil sa character ko siyempre meron din akong dala dala na personal life problems di ba? Pero solid kasi madami akong napupulot na aral. Natututunan kung paano i-set aside yung mga personal problems sa problem ng character. Minsan lang talaga, tao lang tayo eh, minsan talaga hindi ko alam ko alam kung masungit ka dahil dun or alam mo yun,” he recalled.

Also returning as part of the cast of the popular teen-oriented series is Kaori Oinuma who played Jeremiah’s onscreen partner in Star Cinema’s 2021 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love At First Stream. But in He’s Into Her, Jeremiah admitted that their characters will not have any romantic connections.

“Base sa libro at saka base sa pelikulang ginagawa namin, walang connection yung character ni Kaori na si Michiko and yung character ko na si Randall. Kaya kung nag-e-expect yung mga tao eh ayoko naman magpaasa. Wala tayong aasahan (laughs) na mangyayari sa characters namin parehas. Magkaiba kasi ng kuwento,” he admitted.
