Kira Balinger on working with Chie Filmeno and Angelica Lao in ‘Beach Bros’: ‘Sobrang naging close kami!’

When talking about her role in the <a href="https://iwanttfc.com" target="_blank">iWantTFC</a> series Beach Bros, Kira Balinger said there is a lot to be proud about with her latest role.“Si Erica naman kahit na makita niyong nananabunot siya, yun talaga yung highlight ng character ko sa totoo lang (laughs). Kahit na ganun ang nakita niyo sa trailer, she did that out of passion, out of love. She also fights for her friends and she’s very protective of them. And she’s also very dedicated sa mga community service ng daddy niya since councilor siya. Yung waking up lang in the morning, that’s the only part lang where I felt it was work but everything else super happy and everybody was just so easy to work with. And in a span of like one week lang, sobrang naging close kami which is yun talaga yung hindi ko in-expect.“Nung time na yun I had to leave early because of prior commitments pero natapos na naman na yung mga scenes ko and nun pa lang I could tell how close we are. I didn’t want to have any expectations or anything. Pero si Chie I’ve heard so much about her. So when I got there sa taping I was medyo kabado ako nun ng very, very slight tapos nalaman ko na mag-roommate kami and I got to know here a little bit more and ang bait niya pala. Mabait talaga si Chie and nagtatawanan kami which I didn’t expect.“Si Angelica I have never met before until Beach Bros so kita mo talaga na baby girl. Tapos sa mga boys, wala talaga akong mga expectations. I was waiting for them to talk para marinig ko sila and I could kind of get something from their personality. Pero ang bait nilang lahat and kalog. Walang epal sa amin. Because I really appreciate and love my body for what it is now and I actually want to be thick. Gusto ko. Pero may abs pa din, yun lang yung challenge.
