Jessi parts ways with P NATION after three years

<p>After three years, Korean-American singer-songwriter Jessi has left her entertainment agency, P NATION. Last July 6, the agency confirmed that the exclusive contract with the 33-year-old singer had ended.</p><p>“Hello. This is P NATION. First of all, we express deep gratitude to everyone who has sent much love and interest to Jessi. After three years of being together, both parties decided to end the contract and not to renew it.</p><p>“Being with P NATION since the beginning until now as P NATION’s first artist, Jessi has secured her position as an artist who is loved by more fans through her warm passion and endless efforts. That process and her achievements became positive and enjoyable sources of motivation for every member of P NATION,” they continued.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2022/7/1/fresh-scoops/korean-american-rapper-jessi-is-coming-to-manila-201005"><strong><u>READ: Korean-American rapper Jessi is coming to Manila</u></strong></a></div><p>While they might have ended their contractual relationship, P NATION, in their statement, said that they would continue to express their support to Jessi with her future endeavors.</p><p>“We will continue to cheer on Jessi’s future path as an artist, and we will continuously support her diverse activities. We thank the many fans who cherish Jessi, and we ask that you continue to send warm encouragement and support,” their statement ended.</p><p>Meanwhile, Jessi took to her Instagram to explain that she will not be retiring any time soon. This change of management for her marks the beginning of her new journey both as a musician and as an entertainer.</p><p>Speculations have come up that Jessi and P NATION didn’t end on good terms which the singer quickly debunked.</p><p>“I understand people can make assumptions right now based on my current situation… but the truth shall reveal itself in a matter of time,” she wrote.</p><p>Throughout her stay in P NATION, Jessi had several hit songs such as “Nunu Nana”, “What Type of X”, and the most recent viral song, “Zoom.”</p><p>She is set to visit Manila on September 30, 2022.</p>

Being the first artist to sign with P NATION, Jessi’s departure from the agency took everyone by surprise.
