Maja Salvador, Hidilyn Diaz get stars on Eastwood’s Walk of Fame

The awardees for this year’s Eastwood City Walk of Fame were announced by the organizers last January 10. A total of nine personalities from different aspects of the showbiz industry and more will be recipients of the five-point brass star.This also marks the first time since 2020 that a ceremony will be held as it has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<div dir="ltr"><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2020/1/16/photos/tingnan-mga-artistang-ginawaran-ng-walk-of-fame-s-37084" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">TINGNAN: Mga artistang ginawaran ng Walk of Fame stars</a></div>One of the showbiz personalities to receive the prestigious award is Wildflower actress Maja Salvador. She Was given the award due to her multiple contributions on television.Joining Maja on the list of awardees this year is Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz. The athlete joins the roster of awardees for her contribution in the development of sports in the country.Meanwhile, Ricky Lee and the late Tony Mabesa—both National Artists—are also set to join the lineup for this year’s inductees. The German Moreno Walk of Fame Foundation is now being led by Federico Moreno after his father’s death.The tourist attraction in Quezon City has awarded over 300 personalities from different fields since its inception. Back in 2020, Jo Koy, Catriona Gray, Rachelle Ann Go, and Edu Manzano were among the celebrities that were given the recognition by the foundation.Some of the notable celebrities that obtained the five-point brass star are Vilma Santos, Nora Aunor, Fernando Poe Jr., Manny Pacquiao, and Judy Ann Santos, to name a few.<div> </div>
