Jaymee Joaquin passes away at 44

<p>Former actress-host Jaymee Joaquin passed away last October 18 after her battle with breast cancer. Corrs assured Jaymee that the documentary will be finished despite her death.</p><p>“Rest in God&#x27;s embrace. No more pain. &#x27;Til we meet again our Supernova. Our Kabagang! Mahal na mahal ka namin,” she ended.</p><p>Meanwhile, many of Jaymee’s supporters paid tribute to her on her personal Instagram account. Netizens flooded the comment section with heartfelt messages and stories they have of the late host.</p><p>“REST IN PEACE, KABAGANG! Ikaw talaga yung reason bakit ako natutong mag puyat noong high school ako e. Sa UPLATE show mo! Hehehehe free from pain but your memories will remain in our hearts! Fly high, Jaymee,” a fan commented.</p><p>“You’re free from pain now..God bless,” another fan added.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2020/5/21/fresh-scoops/former-tv-host-jaymee-joaquin-updates-followers-on-27377" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>READ: Former TV host Jaymee Joaquin updates followers on cancer battle</u></strong></a></div><p>Jaymee was first diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2016 after she discovered a marble-sized lump on her left breast, somewhere in between her nipple and her armpit.  She then received treatments for her sickness but then the cancer came back for a second time in 2019, and a third time in 2020.</p><p>The late actress-host had been consistently sharing her health updates on her social media accounts prior to her passing. In her update last August 26, Jaymee showed her gratitude to everyone who’s been praying for her and messaging her.</p><p>“Thanks to y’all for the well wishes, healing energy and fervent prayers. They are received with faith, hope and love,” she wrote.</p><div><br/></div>
