Richard Gutierrez is a certified Kapamilya once more after he signed an exclusive contract with the network last Thursday, October 26, at the Dolphy Theater in Quezon City. The actor was accompanied by ABS-CBN chairman Mark L. Lopez, ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, COO of Broadcast Cory V. Vidanes, ABS-CBN head of TV Production and Star Magic head Laurenti M. He shared that he is exactly where he wanted to be—a solid Kapamilya.“I think where I am now in my life––where I am in my career––is exactly where I want to be and that’s to be a solid Kapamilya. With everything that ABS-CBN has gone through over the years, all challenges––lahat ng pagsubok na pinagdaanan ng network,” he shared.Richard added that he is happy to see ABS-CBN getting back up on its feet after a series of challenges it faced during the height of the pandemic. “Right now, I think we are not just surviving, we are thriving bilang Kapamilya. Lahat ng binato sa network tinatanggap nila and they were able to pivot successfully. Maria––she’s a great actress. I haven’t worked with Gerald Anderson as well, I want to work again with Daniel [Padilla] and Kathryn [Bernardo] or Donny [Pangilinan] and Belle [Mariano]. Madami pa akong hindi nakakatrabaho sa Kapamilya network… Sana mabigyan kami ng opppoprtunity na ensemble na project,” he revealed.Richard first signed a contract with ABS-CBN in 2018. Since then, the Kapamilya star has starred in several hit shows with the network.
