“Right now, I would just like to absorb everything na nangyari sa The Iron Heart so I wanna take a couple of weeks off and relax with my family and spend time [with them]. I’m ready to work after a few weeks,” he shared.

Richard admitted that they are still conceptualizing his next show with ABS-CBN as The Iron Heart became the standard for him when it comes to an action series. The Iron Heart earned half a million concurrent viewers at one point and was steady at the 300,000 mark during its run.

“We have a couple of things lined up for the teleserye I think [in the] first quarter of next year. I think that’s enough time for preparation [and] planning. Ang hirap tapatan ng Iron Heart kasi to be honest kailangan namin magisip ng panibagong konsepto––magandang konsepto––kung paano namin iaangat pa ang level from The Iron Heart in terms of action, storytelling, and location,” he admitted.

“Kapag gumawa ka ng action kuha mo ang male audience, kuha mo ang mga bata. And you can tell so many different stories with an action series. And as an actor kapag pinanood mo 'yung 'Iron Heart' hindi mo kakalimutan 'yung pagiging romantic lead mo, hindi mo naman kakalimutan 'yung pagiging dramatic actor mo kasi you are telling a story,” he added.
