When asked if it was a conscious effort to put together songs in a variety of styles, Jungkook said, "I wanted to have this universal emotion—love. Everyone can relate to it. I wanted to show the change of this emotion. And also in terms of versatility, I wanted to become a solo artist who can pull off a lot of genres and that's what I try to do here."
