Yasmien Kurdi is pregnant with her second child. 

The actress and StarStruck alum shared the wonderful news on Instagram, posting photos of her growing baby bump and sonogram pictures of her child. She was joined by her husband, Rey Soldevilla, Jr., and their firstborn daughter, Ayesha Zara, in the pregnancy announcement shoot, taken by Nice Print Photography.

“We’ve been keeping a little secret for awhile. #BabyNo2 🔜 this 2024! The 3rd Dragon in the family,” she wrote.

In the comments section of her post, fans and showbiz friends of Yasmien congratulated her on the big news.

“Waaaah!!!! Congratulations guys!!!! 🥹🥹🤍🤍 big blessing!” wrote Gabbi Garcia.

“Saya wohooo!!! Congratulations,” said Rodjun Cruz.

“Yehey!!!! It's out!! Congrats Yas, Rey and ate AZ!,” added Charee Pineda.

Others who commented included Carla Abellana, Rocco Nacino, Melissa Gohing, and Hero Angeles.

Yasmien and Rey tied the knot in January 2012 after six years as a couple. The two first met during a flight when Rey — who is a pilot — was still working as a cabin crew member.

“I used to work for an airline before as a cabin crew so lagi akong lumilipad and at the same time siya rin laging lumilipad. So pasahero ko na siya for three times already. Nung third time, dun [kami] nag-usap ng dahil sa isang baul," Rey said, recalling their love story in a YouTube vlog in 2019.

"Galing akong Cotabato tapos sa Cotabato flight 'yun, delayed 'yong flight ng four hours. Hinahabol ko 'yong taping ko, dala ko 'yong baul tapos hindi magkasya sa compartment. So sabi niya i-check-in na lang daw. Saan daw ako dumaan," Yasmien added.

"Kasi nagtaka ako eh, ang laki-laki ng baul tapos nakapasok sa eroplano. As in tanong ko, ano laman ng baul? Ang sagot ng kasama niya, ahas daw," Rey recalled. To which Yasmien said, "So nag-freak out 'yong mga tao sa likod tapos sabi ko sa kanila hindi, hindi, hindi pagkain lang ang laman nito, hindi ahas.”

Less than a year after they wed, the two welcomed their first child, Ayesha Zara, in November 2012.

Yasmien, 34, rose to fame when she joined the reality talent competition show StarStruck back in 2004.
