Katarina Rodriguez channels her ‘inner goddess’ in maternity shoot

Katarina Rodriguez is counting down the days until she welcomes her second child with her partner Nino Barbers.

On Instagram, the Miss World Philippines 2018 titlist shared snaps from her recent maternity shoot with celebrity photographer Josh Tolentino. Katarina, 30, channeled her inner goddess as she posed in a pink silk dress that draped down her baby bump and curvaceous body.

“My baby girl bringing out the inner goddess in me. Never felt more beautiful than the last 9 months,” she said.

Katarina is scheduled to give birth to her second baby anytime this February. She announced her second pregnancy in October 2022, sharing photos from a space-themed shoot showing her growing baby bump.

“Oops!...I Did It Again. #BabyBarbers2 coming January 2023,” she said at the time.

The beauty queen, who hails from Davao but is now based in Siargao with her family, gave birth to her first child, Quino, in August 2021. She and her partner Nino, who owns a resort in Siargao, have been together since 2018.

Katarina rose to fame after placing third in the second season of the hit competition Asia's Next Top Model in 2014. In 2017, she was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental, and later represented the Philippines in the Miss Intercontinental pageant, where she placed first runner-up.

She then won Miss World Philippines in 2018, and subsequently. represented the Philippines at the Miss World 2018 pageant.

After ending her pageant journey, Katarina dabbled in acting. Her breakout role was as Rio Isla in the hit ABS-CBN series Make It With You, starring Enrique Gil and his real-life girlfriend Liza Soberano.
