Actress Bela Padilla didn’t hold back as she addressed a netizen citing their experience with the actress during the Love on Tour concert of Harry Styles last March 14. The netizen claimed that Bela was not friendly with fans who had asked to take a picture with her.

Bela clarified her side of the story in a series of tweets she posted in response to the ongoing issue.

The actress wanted to settle the issue once and for all to have her peace of mind.

Bela narrated how she was with her friend Tracy from 3 pm to 6:30 pm just before the concert of the English singer-songwriter began. She shared that she was happily agreeing to everyone who wanted to have their pictures taken with her. 

It was only when her friend’s cousin and their friends arrived did she stop accepting the photos requests as they weren’t comfortable with the whole thing. 

“I’ll address this once because I hate it when lies spread around,” she wrote.

The ‘Yung Libro Sa Napanood Ko actress revealed that she asked some of her fans if it would be alright to take photos after they spoke. 

“I asked a few people if they could take photos after we spoke but I guess some of you guys couldn’t take no for an answer. Di na din ako makasmile sa pagod at nahiya ako sa mga bagong kasama namin. Gets,” she continued. 

“When I’m upset because the boundaries of my friends are compromised, I [obviously]  won’t smile,” she added.

Bela also apologized to the people who weren’t able to have their photos taken with her. In a reply to a fan, the actress added that people should also know how to “read the room.”

“I’m ok to say sorry too if I did, and to the people I didn’t allow to take photos because I was talking to my friends, I’m sorry, but again, you have to read the room too, even while we were eating, people were taking photos, my friends don’t need to go through that,” she said. 

Netizens came to Bela’s defense, posting their own photos that they took with the actress during the concert.

“Thank you so much for being Nice and Approachable,” a netizen shared.

“Been gate keeping these pics on my Priv accs but here, i s-share ko na. Hehe. Di kasi ako maka get over. 😭 Pics w/ Ms. Maam Bela Padilla; she was sooo nice, and I got to give her my Handmade Harry Styles-inspired freebie earrings,” another netizen added.
