Actor Paolo Contis recently shared that he has never put the blame on anyone for his own shortcomings. In his interview with Goin’ Bulilit alum Kiray Celis, the topic of cheating was brought up as the actress shared that she was cheated on by her ex-boyfriend which led to their separation.

Paolo has been a hot topic on social media as he was accused of cheating on his former partner, LJ Reyes, with his now-girlfriend Yen Santos.

Kiray shared what she had learned from her relationship with her ex-partner as to why cheaters tend to cheat on their partners. She cited that cheaters only gave one common reason when cornered to answer the question.

“Lahat pala ng mga manloloko, isa lang ang reason. Yung mga manloloko, yung mga partner nila yung sisisihin. Parang ‘ikaw kasi kaya ako nagloko.’ Ikaw yung pagmumukhaing masama. Na-try mo ba yun?” she asked Paolo.

The actor was seemingly taken aback by the question as he jokingly shared that his and Kiray’s roles as host and guest were switched. Paolo still confidently answered the question of the former child actress.

“Ako, to be honest, never akong nanisi sa mga mali ko. Ang sa’kin lang, kung may ginawa kang masama, be man enough to admit it,” he shared.

“Say sorry, and then try to change for the better,” he continued.

Paolo admitted that he is still a work in progress as he tries to improve himself as a better partner to his girlfriend.

Earlier this year, Paolo confirmed his relationship with Yen in an interview with Boy Abunda. He revealed that he and LJ had already been growing apart in their relationship long before Yen entered the picture.

“Sa amin kasi kumbaga is what you see is what you get naman eh. Di naman namin pwede ipilit yung tao to be happy for us, di naman namin pwede ipilit 'yung mga tao na paniwalaan yung gusto nilang paniwalaan sana lang isipin nila na kung ano lang yung nakikita nilang naka-post, 'yun lang y'ung truth na alam nila,” he previously shared.
