Third generation girl group Red Velvet will be returning to Manila on May 27 for their R to V concert tour. This was announced on their official social media accounts alongside the other tour stops last Monday, March 27.

The South Korean girl group will be performing their first-ever solo concert in the country. Red Velvet has previously visited Manila alongside other K-Pop acts.

Red Velvet will be making several stops in Asian cities such as Singapore, Yokohama, Bangkok, and Jakarta. The quintet will then move to European cities such as Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and London towards the end of May.

Red Velvet previously performed in the country back in July 2022 for the “Be You” concert wherein they performed alongside P-Pop acts such as BGYO and BINI.

Additional details for their concert such as the venue, seat plan, and ticket prices have yet to be announced by both their entertainment label, SM Entertainment, and its event organizer partner in the country.

Red Velvet has been visiting the country several times since their debut in 2014. They have performed in various K-Pop concert festivals such as Best of the Best in 2015, K-Pop Music Festival in 2019, among others.

Red Velvet debuted back in 2014 and is under the K-Pop powerhouse SM Entertainment. The group is composed of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. They are known for their Red and Velvet concept which is noticeable in some of their hit songs such as “Red Flavor”, “Power Up”, “Psycho”, “Feel My Rhythm”, and Queendom, to name a few.

Their latest album The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday was released in November 2022 and was well received by the public as it recorded a million copies of album sales––making it their first album to achieve such a feat.
