JC Santos brings daughter River to Japan for the first time

<p>After getting married in 2019 to his former high school crush Shyleena Herrera and welcoming their daughter Aletheia the following year, it looks like JC Santos is fully enjoying parenthood.</p><p>During the recent extended Holy Week break, the 34-year-old actor took his family for a quick vacation to Osaka, Japan, as seen in recent posts on his Instagram account. So, yeah, I enjoy it, yung fatherhood, so much. Pati yung challenges, it’s part of the job. Mahirap siya pero it’s fun. May instant progress naman, meron kaagad na parang reward every day. So, hiyang ako. Na-enjoy ko siya nang sobra, nae-enjoy ko siya every day.</p><p>“At saka yung mga discoveries habang lumalaki yung baby mo, you see it every day tapos makikita mo yung nagiging personality niya at nakikita mo na magiging maayos itong tao and I like that.”</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2020/6/20/fresh-scoops/push-x-lifestyle-jc-santos-now-a-complete-man-b-29343"><strong>READ: PUSH X LIFESTYLE: JC Santos now a ‘complete man’ because of fatherhood<br/></strong></a></div><p>Even as a first time dad, JC admitted that he can’t help but appreciate every little thing about his first child, who just turned three last February.</p><p>“There’s nothing better than a great motivation having both a beautiful daughter and a beautiful wife. I have been waiting for a good chance to live a healthy lifestyle. I am now living the dream! Having a child made me closer to (God) even more. I’ve never believed and prayed so much in my entire life and I’ve never been so grateful for everything that I have until now,” he said.</p><p>“For the first time in my life, I finally felt that I have enough. She reminds me of myself—I always 100 percent smile. It’s also one of my favorite qualities about my wife.”</p><p>JC was last seen acting in films Dito at Doon with Janine Gutierrez and More Than Blue with Yassi Pressman which were both released in 2021.  He is currently part of the trending series Dirty Linen as police officer Lemuel Onore.</p>
