Fil-Am singer Jessica Sanchez on being married: ‘I’ve grown a lot’

<p><em>American Idol </em>season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez opened up about her married life.</p><p>In an interview on <em><strong>PUSH Best Live</strong>,</em> the Filipino-American singer said that marriage allowed her to grow in a lot of ways.</p><p>&quot;Marriage have really calmed me down. I love my husband and I think it just changed me for the better, he changed me for the better. I&#x27;ve grown a lot. I&#x27;ve actually been married for two years. It&#x27;s been a while. I just announced it publicly. it was like a soft announcement on my Instagram,&quot; she said.</p><p>She highlighted that her husband, Rickie Gallardo, is also very supportive when it comes to her career.</p><div><iframe width="1349" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MUjOJ_isVJY" title="Jessica Sanchez opens up about her marriage | PUSH Bets Live" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>&quot;Marriage is like another level of commitment. I am very happy. My husband is very supportive of my career,&quot; she stated.</p><p>Jessica also shared the details about their intimate wedding. I&#x27;ve grown up on Filipino food. This is the most rice I&#x27;ve eaten in a long time.&quot; </p><p>&quot;I love being back. It&#x27;s been so long because of the whole COVID pandemic. I missed my grandparents the most for sure but also the people, the culture, the food,&quot; she added.</p>
