Ara Mina couldn’t help but turn emotional when her husband Dave Almarinez threw her a surprise birthday party.

The actress  — who turned 44 ast May 9 — shared on social media photos and clips of her birthday celebration at the Manila House Private Members Club in Taguig with her family and closest friends.

“I’m still on cloud nine from the surprise birthday party my husband @davealmarinez threw for me. Thank you for always going beyond and above to make me feel loved. Love you so much bebe!” Ara wrote.

She also thanked all those who came to her surprise party.

“Bday Surprise. May 2023. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for coming to my surprise party last week. I was so touched to see all of my closest family and friends in one room, and it was definitely a night to remember,” she said.

“I feel truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life, and I’m grateful that you could all take the time to celebrate with me. Your presence made all the difference, and I don’t think the party would have been half as fun without you. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate you more than words can express, and I hope we can catch up soon,” she added.

Spotted in the event were some of Ara’s friends in showbiz, including Dingdong Dantes, Sunshine Cruz, Barbie Imperial, Samantha Bernardo, Eian Rances, Melissa Ricks, Ronnie Rickets, Jan Marini, Gerard Pizzaras, Say Alonzo, and Jaycee Parker.

Last August, it was Ara who threw a surprise birthday party for her husband as he turned another year older. The couple will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary this month. They tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Baguio  on June 30, 2021, several months after they got engaged.
