‘Home Along Da Riles’ family reunites to remember their Tatay Dolphy 

The cast and staff of 'Home Along Da Riles' got together to mark Dolphy’s 11th death anniversary.

<p>July 10, 2023 was the Philippine Comedy King Dolphy’s 11th death anniversary. To mark the occasion, his family got together to celebrate him. </p><p>The celebration was not limited to his real life family, though. Having been part of the industry for decades, Dolphy was also cherished by his showbiz family such as the family he formed on the set of the ABS-CBN show <em>Home Along Da Riles</em>.</p><p>The Cosme family, the well-loved onscreen family of Dolphy on the said show, all hold the memory of their “Tatay Dolphy” close to their hearts.</p><p>In the show, Dolphy played Kevin Cosme, whose brood of five children included Bill (played by Smokey Manaloto), Bob (played by Gio Alvarez), Bing (played by Claudine Barretto), Baldo (played by Vandolph Quizon), and Estong (played by Boy 2 Quizon). Also a mainstay was Maybelyn dela Cruz, who was the daughter of Aling Ason (played by Nova Villa).</p><p>In her Instagram post last July 11, 2023, Claudine shared a Cosme family reunion of sorts to honor Dolphy.</p><p>“11th death anniversary of Tatay Dolphy sabay reunion,” posted Claudine, tagging Gio, Maybelyn, Smokey, and Boy 2.
