Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz graduated from college as she marched alongside her fellow graduates at the PICC Plenary Hall in Pasay City earlier today, July 22. The Olympian successfully earned her BSBA- Business Management degree from the College of St. Benilde.

Talent manager Noel Ferrer showed a glimpse of Hidilyn’s Commencement Exercise on his social media account.

“NO MEAN FEAT. This was my dream for her; and I am glad she pursued this despite everything she went through! CONGRATULATIONS @hidilyndiaz for your graduation today : BSBA- Business Management , DLSU-College of St Benilde. (In the photos) Thank you too to Br. Dennis Magbanua, former DLSU-CSB President who gave Haidie her college scholarship and her thesis-mates who hurdled all the academic challenges with Haidie and carried everything through. Now, our OLYMPIC CHAMP is a college graduate,” Noel wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, Hidilyn shared some snaps on her Instagram Stories proudly flexing her graduation attire. She showed her gratitude towards the former President of the institution for giving her the opportunity to finish her college education.

The 32-year-old weightlifting champion added how thankful she is for everyone else who was with her throughout her journey in college––from her thesis mates up until her professors.

Previously, Hidilyn proudly revealed she completed her undergraduate thesis despite her busy schedule.

Now that she has successfully finished another milestone in her life, Hidilyn is set to compete at the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
