David Licauco shares story behind construction business

<p>Beyond show business, David Licauco is an entrepreneur with various businesses in his portfolio.</p><p>Aside from owning two restaurants, the actor shared that he also ventured into the construction business.</p><p>&quot;I also have a construction company actually. My own. Bakit pa ako kukuha ng contractor? So dahil doon, naisipan kong gumawa ng construction company,&quot; he said.</p><p>He highlighted that the way he approaches his life is by embracing the opportunities that come and putting his best foot forward.</p><p>&quot;I feel like gano&#x27;n naman &#x27;yung buhay e. You just never know kung saan ka pupunta. Just taking all the opportunity that you can get and accepting it. Galingan mo na lang lagi,&quot; he said.</p><p>In a previous interview with Karen Davila, David shared that it was his family who inspired him to pursue entrepreneurship.</p><p>&quot;I grew up in a Chinese high school and as we know, &#x27;yung mga Chinese, into business talaga. Di naman ganun kalaki kasi I raised my own money rin, siguro mga P600,000,&quot; he said.</p><p>In 2022, David&#x27;s series<em> Maria Clara at Ibarra </em>further catapulted him to fame. He played the role of Fidel in the show. </p><p>The series paved the way for his love team with his co-star in the show, Barbie Forteza. They have been collectively called as the BarDa love team.</p>
