2023 Asia Artist Awards to be held in the Philippines

The 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) will be held in the Philippines this coming December 14 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. This huge announcement was earlier reported by the South Korean news outlet StarNews.The highly-anticipated event will be hosted by Star News and co-hosted by the Asia Artist Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, and local event organizer PULP Live World.No additional details such as the guest performers and presenters have been announced by any of the organizers as of this writing.The country will be hosting the prestigious award-giving event for the first time. Last year, the AAAs was held in Nippon Gaishi Hall in Nagoya, Japan.Filipino K-Pop fans should be excited about this development as the prestigious event is known for having the biggest South Korean stars in their event. Previously, various Korean celebrities such as 2PM’s Junho, Kim Seon-ho, SEVENTEEN, and IVE, among others were present in Japan to perform and personally receive their awards.Meanwhile, netizens took to their social media accounts to express their excitement for the upcoming event in the country. Some netizens have mentioned the names of the artists they wish to see in the country this year.“First time ‘to and I'm happy nare-recognize na ang Philippines as a good venue to gather artists for an awards show kasi to be honest, ibang iba ang dynamics at energy ng Filo K-pop fans,” a netizen commented.“OMGGGG?! FINALLY AN AWARD SHOW LOCATED IN THE PHILIPPINES,” another netizen added.Fans have added how they can’t wait for the ticketing details which have yet to be announced by PULP Live World.The AAA is an award giving body that recognizes Asian artists in various fields of entertainment––from film to music. The past editions of the event were held in South Korea prior to the ceremony in Japan last year.It was founded back in 2016 by Money Today, StarNews Korea, and MTN. Now in its eighth year, fans are expecting for more surprises and awards for their favorite artists in Asia.
