Former child star Jiro Manio shared that he attempted to look for his biological father.In an interview with Boy Abunda, Jiro said: &quot;Hinanap ko po. Nagtanong-tanong po ako sa kanila, una sa family ko, sabi nila isang beses lang daw &#x27;yun nagpunta nung pinagbubuntis po ako ng mother ko and iniwan po sa bahay &#x27;yung mother ko. Umalis daw po mag-isa.&quot;Tapos iyak daw po nang iyak &#x27;yung mother ko nun dahil masama daw &#x27;yung sinabi sa mother ko. Parang ganun. Di ko po alam eh kung ano. Tapos &#x27;yun na hanggang sa pinanganak na ako na wala na siya,&quot; he added. On what made him want to find his father, he replied: &quot;Ano lang po kumbaga na engganyo lang ako na makita siya kung totoo ba na ang tatay ko ay Japanese. &#x27;Yun lang naman po ang naiisip ko dahil lumaki ako dito sa Pilipinas, wala naman po siya.&quot;When asked what he would want to ask his father if he met him, he said: &quot;Kung kilala niya ako na anak niya.&quot;<div><iframe width="695" height="391" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/q17p9SkUl_c" title="Fast Talk with Boy Abunda: Exclusive Interview with award-winning actor Jiro Manio(Full Episode 256)" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>The former child star was also asked if he is still open to the possibility of going back to show business.He replied: &quot;Pinipili ko po eh, sa ngayon po &#x27;yung mga tinatanggap ko po na pwede [na roles] pero hindi na po katulad dati &#x27;yung babad talaga ako sa TV.&quot;He explained that his doctors advised him not to subject himself to too much stress.&quot;Pinagbawalan po ako ng mga doktor sa rehab po na baka daw po maging effects ng stress ko magkasakit daw po ako ulit. Dahil hanggang ngayon nagte-take po ako ng medicine. Tsaka marami pong binawal sa akin. Bawal po akong mapuyat. And isa po ako sa mga volunteer staff dun na nagbibigay ng testimony lalo na kapag may mga special events like drug abuse prevention and control, mga patungkol po sa pag-iwas sa masamang bisyo,&quot; he relayed.
