Local band Lola Amour achieved a significant milestone when they performed their popular song "Raining in Manila" alongside Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin, at his concert in the Philippines.

Coldplay performed for two consecutive days in front of a massive crowd of Filipino fans at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Coldplay’s concert in the country was made possible by local concert promoter Live Nation Philippines.

Chris teased fans with the OPM single, recalling how it was raining during his transit to the Philippine Arena. He shared that "Raining in Manila" played in his mind.

The British singer treated the crowd to a few lines from a viral hit song, causing fans to cheer and sing along. He then surprised the audience by inviting some members of Lola Amour on stage, which drove the crowd wild.

Despite the brief time Lola Amour spent on stage, they managed to capture the hearts of Coldplay's fans, who joined them in singing the chorus of their song. Chris was equally thrilled to have shared the stage with the OPM band, as he sat down to watch them perform.

Later on, Lola Amour took to their Instagram account to describe how "surreal" the moment was for them. The band took some backstage photos and shared a glimpse of Coldplay's setlist.

“Still can’t believe this happened! Thank you @coldplay for this once in a lifetime experience,” the band said.

Lola Amour's fans expressed their delight upon learning that the band had shared the stage with an iconic rock band. Netizens congratulated them in the comments section of their post.

“This makes my Filipino heart full omg,” a fan shared.

“You guys made it,” another fan expressed.

During Coldplay's first show, Chris expressed gratitude towards fans who braved traffic to watch them perform.

“Thank you to all of you for coming through the traffic. Holy sh*t! I think we’ve seen some traffic, but I think you have the number one [worst traffic] in the world. So, thank you. Thank you for making the effort to come through all that bullsh*t to be here,” Chris said.
