Coco Martin opens a TikTok account

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actor Coco Martin opened his own TikTok account earlier this week. The Kapamilya star made this announcement on his Instagram account at the height of the ongoing filing for the 2025 National Elections.

Coco found a creative way to announce his entrance on the social media platform.

He made sure to tease his fans as he sat down and took a deep breath before breaking the news to his thousands of followers.

“Matagal ko pong pinag-isipan ito at ngayon desidido na ako. Gagawin ko ito para sa kinabukasan ko, sa kinabakusan ng aking pamilya at sa kinakabukasan ng lahat ng mga Pilipino,” he teased.

Fans were in for a ride as the video went as Coco took his joke even further.

“Maraming mga taong kumakausap sa akin, maraming mga taong kumukumbinsi at ngayon desido na ako. Kayo ang kauna-unang makakaalam nito, ako si Coco Martin -- nasa TikTok na. Kaya ano pa ang hinihintay niyo i-follow niyo na ako," he quipped.

Netizens expressed their thoughts in the comment section as the video of the Kapamilya star finished. Some shared how they were fooled in the first half of the video while others pushed him to try entering politics.

“Akala ko kung ano sasabihin ni idol Coco.yon pala nasa tiktok na si idol.ang galing.nagulat ako don.hahaha.god bless you idol Coco,” a fan wrote.

“I thought you were announcing na you will be running for President,” another netizen shared.

“Dami Kong tawa dito. Serious pa talaga Ang mukha,” a fan added.

His TikTok video has reached over 10 million views with over 740,000 likes as of writing. He has also earned 448,000 followers on the social media platform.
