Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Dawn Chang opened the second branch of her cookie business, DC Delights.

"My heart is overflowing with gratitude as we open our second branch at the new Greenhills Mall," she posted on social media.

The actress turned entrepreneur expressed her gratitude to those who have supported her in growing her business.  

"This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of my incredible team, family, friends, and all of you who believed in me and my vision," she said.

Dawn went on: "Every sleepless night, every challenge faced, has been worth it because of the love and encouragement I’ve received along the way. I am beyond thankful for each of you who has been part of this journey. With a great team and such amazing supporters, anything truly is possible. ☕️🍪✨"

Fans online were quick to congratulate Dawn on this milestone in her entrepreneurial journey.

"Congrats Dawn 😘❤️ so proud of you 🤗🫶," one fan commented.

"I love your cookies 🥰 I will always order in Conrad branch," another fan wrote.

According to the brand's website, DC Delights was established in 2014 by Dawn which "originated from a passion for baking, nurtured in the vibrant city of Melbourne, Australia." 

Its flagship store is located at S Maison Conrad in Pasay. Meanwhile, it also boasts of pop-up stores located at Power Plant Mall and Alabang Town Center.

In a previous interview with My Puhunan, Dawn shared that baking cookies started as a hobby.

"It happened na when I was in Australia, nag-crave ako ng cookies. Eh mahal dun, mahal ang standards of living dun. So either pupunta ako sa mall na masarap 'yung cookies pero ang mahal-mahal na I cannot afford, or dun sa afford ko pero hindi masarap. So nag-bake ako and I actually enjoyed it," she recalled.

Dawn found baking interesting as it needs precision.

"Kapag baking kasi very precise lahat, so parang na-enjoy ko 'yung challenge ng pagbe-bake na kailangan precise tapos pinaghirapan mo. Tapos noong lumabas na, noong na-bake mo na siya, ang sarap niya," she shared.
