<p>Actress Dimples Romana is deeply grateful to have reached her 40s, a time filled with blessings. She said that she wants to dedicate the coming years to sharing love with others.</p><p>On November 10, Sunday, Dimples visited a foundation where she spent time playing with children and sharing gifts. Her husband, Boyet Ahmee, was also present.</p><p>“These children are children with a lot of dreams and I have three kids and nakita ko na ang mga bata when you are able to give them just one day, one moment to make them feel all the dreams that they have in their head are possible, you are giving them hope today and that&#x27;s the reason why I wanted to be in He Cares (Foundation) today,” Dimples said.</p><div style="text-align:center"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/Dimples-Romana-shares-realizations-in-her-40s-1.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Dimples Romana shares realizations in her 40s"/></div><p>The celebrity mom also expressed how precious the experience of seeing the children enjoy themselves was for her.</p><p>“I’m a young mom and I know the value of showing time for children. The kids are our future. They hold the very brightest of the future that we have, in this country and anywhere in the world. I want to value that for my birthday and I really want to give honor to life, youth and to be able to give back,” she added.</p><p>Before celebrating her 40th birthday, Dimples had already visited several foundations to share the blessings she has received over the years.</p><p>“When you want to say thank you to the Lord for all the blessings, wala naman akong maibibigay sa Kaniya na He doesn&#x27;t already have so the main focus really is to make sure that 40 years old onwards would be all about giving back the blessings that we have been showered with,” she said.</p><div style="text-align:center"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/Dimples-Romana-shares-realizations-in-her-40s-2.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Dimples Romana shares realizations in her 40s"/></div><p>Dimples, who grew up in a simple family, reflected on how love was the most important thing she received from her parents.</p><p>“If there&#x27;s anything I&#x27;m very good at, apart of what I do as a professional. That is giving love to people who I feel will be inspired,” she added.</p><p>She also shared how growing older has shifted her perspective on life, saying: “I think over the three decades that I&#x27;ve been an artista, I realize na at this point I no longer have main focus on what I do as an individual, as an professional but more importantly parang I wanted to make sure that my life would be dedicated na to giving back to people who have been very very good to me.”</p><div style="text-align:center"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/Dimples-Romana-shares-realizations-in-her-40s-3.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Dimples Romana shares realizations in her 40s"/></div><p>She also admitted that she feels some fear about the future, especially when she remembers the passing of her father at a young age.</p><p>“Noong nalaman ko na mag-40 na ako, I always look back to that moment that my Papa passed away right before his 41st birthday. I fear this moment. Isa ito sa mga kinatatakutan kong panahon kasi I was 16 when my Papa passed away and he hardly experience his 40s,” Dimples shared.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/9/27/dimples-romana-on-turning-39-this-year-820"><strong>READ: Dimples Romana on turning 39 this year: ‘This season is teaching me humility, patience, forgiveness for self’<br/></strong></a></div><p>Despite this, she remains optimistic. “When I turn 40, I realize na God is good, life is short, a lot of things can challenge us and ang pinakamahirap sa lahat ay ang challenge ng inner battle, so many things, doubts and challenges in our minds, in our hearts… but I woke up feeling very grateful na I’m alive, wala akong sakit, walang sakit ang pamilya ko and that alone is a biggest blessing I ever asked for in this lifetime.</p><p>“At this point, ang motto ko na ay everything now is just a bonus of the life that I’ve been living. 40 feels alright, very very good,” she remarked.</p>
