<p>Nikko Natividad opened up about his life prior to joining show business.</p><p>In an interview with Karen Davila for her YouTube vlog, the comedian and social media star shared that he used to clean jeepneys when he was young to earn money for himself.</p><p>&quot;Nung second year high school na-stop ako mag-aral. Naglilinis [ako] ng jeep sa Bagong Silang. So raket-raket,&quot; he relayed.</p><p>The actor shared that his family experienced financial problems at the time which pushed him to earn money for himself.</p><p>&quot;Nagka-problema kami, financial crisis so parang natutunan ko kung di mo kayang makatulong sa parents mo, huwag ka na lang maging pabigat. Na-experience ko okay kami, lahat ng Playstation meron kami niyan, private school kami nag-aaral, may bahay kami tapos biglang down na hindi ko nalaman &#x27;yung totoong problema kasi bata pa kami. Two years old pa lang ako hiwalay [na parents ko]. Lumaki ako sa tita and lola.&quot;</p><p>He went on: &quot;Siyempre birthday, Pasko, graduation, family day, siyempe uma-attend tita mo, lola mo. Kaya ngayong may anak na ako, ayaw kong mag-work sa ibang bansa kasi si daddy ko two years old [ako], 14 years straight &#x27;yun [siya sa Japan],&quot; he relayed.</p><p>Now that he is a father, Nikko remarked that he wants to be very close to his child.</p><p>&quot;Parang gusto ko best friend din ako ng anak ko. &#x27;Yung di siya takot sa akin parang kung gusto niya mag-hang out kami kahit &#x27;pag laki niya di siya maiilang sa akin,&quot; he said.</p>
