In an interview at the 1st Billboard Philippines Women in Music Awards event held on March 22 at the Samsung Hall at SM Aura Premier, Taguig City, Sarah shared how she felt about going back to doing what she loves.

“Grateful. Siyempre may mga apprehensions noong kakababalik ko lang and may mga fears pero sa industriya naman natin as long as you believe in what you do and what you put out there sa mga tao, as long as mahal mo kung ano yung ginagawa mo, there’s no, there’s nothing to fear,” she said.

She also said that even after years in the industry, she still feels nervous whenever she performs or drops new music.

“Kapag sinabi atang Sarah Geronimo kaakibat na ‘yung apprehensions, parang part po talaga yan ng personality ko. But you know at the end of the day, there’s a decision na to overcome that apprehension. Yung passion pa rin na huwag i-overthink yung fear, yung hesitation, yung apprehension.” she expressed.

When asked if she wants to bring her music overseas, Sarah said that she is open to it if the opportunity comes.

“Nasabi niya nga po sa akin na Filipino artists don’t need to change anything about themselves. Kailangan lang nila ng confidence and pagmamahal sa sarili nating musika,” she remarked.

Sarah's last movie project was Unforgettable in 2019. She also recently released a music video for her and Billy Crawford's collaboration song "My Mind" earlier this month.
