Actor Paolo Contis decided to remain mum about his current relationship status with actress Yen Santos. In a brief interview with the press during the premiere of his latest film, Fuchsia Libre, the Kapuso star had no comment about the separation rumors circulating on social media.

The rumors started after netizens noticed that Yen removed all of her photos with Paolo on her Instagram account and unfollowed everyone as well. Meanwhile, the former Tabing Ilog star is still following the actress and has not deleted any photos of them together as of this writing.

“No comment. Libre naman magtanong, pero yun ang sagot ko, no comment,” he shared to the media present.

Paolo playfully added that he’d rather keep mum about his life right now as a lot of people have been probing about his personal life.

“No comment! As I always say, masyado na kayong may alam sa buhay ko so I’d like to keep my personal life personal,” he added.

The 40-year-old actor confirmed his relationship with the actress back in 2023 in an interview with Boy Abunda. He maintained that there was no overlap that happened between her and his ex-partner, LJ Reyes, at the time they were spotted in Baguio.

“Sa amin kasi kumbaga is what you see is what you get naman eh. Di naman namin pwede ipilit yung tao to be happy for us, di naman namin pwede ipilit 'yung mga tao na paniwalaan yung gusto nilang paniwalaan sana lang isipin nila na kung ano lang yung nakikita nilang naka-post, 'yun lang y'ung truth na alam nila,” he added.

The two starred together in the movie A Faraway Land which was released in 2021–– the same year they were being linked to each other but both denied being involved then. Paolo and Yen then became good friends and hit it off two years later.

Yen has yet to issue a statement about their relationship as of this writing.
