Bamboo receives recognition as the longest coach for The Voice Philippines

<p>It was a special moment for singer and songwriter Bamboo Mañalac as he received a special plaque of recognition for being the longest original coach of the singing competition The Voice Philippines on ABS-CBN.</p><p>During the grand finale episode of the show last Sunday, May 19, the crew and the hosts surprised Coach Bamboo, who showed unbeatable and unending passion for the show and its artists for the past decade.</p><p>“We give this very special plaque in recognition for your ten seasons of commitment and dedication to mentoring and nurturing music artists from different generations, presented to Coach Bamboo. With him were his co-artists and musicians Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Apl. de Ap. The show then added singer-actress Sharon Cuneta for The Voice Teens Philippines first season. Singers KZ Tandingan and Martin Nievera were the latest coaches to be added to the show’s roster.</p><p>“Tao ako na I’m always in the moment so I’m just thankful for all this. I just want to say I’m thankful to Coach KZ, Coach Martin. Such great hearts, such great artists. To all my OG coaches: Coach Lea, Coach Apl, Coach Sarah, Coach Sharon. I appreciate you guys,” he expressed.</p><p>“I learned so much. It’s a journey. It’s a chapter.
