Treasure runs to wonderland for their Reboot Tour in Manila

Fans were successfully rebooted and recharged by the South Korean boy group Treasure as they held their Treasure Relay Tour [Reboot] in Manila last Saturday, May 4 at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Giving an incredible opening performance with their hit songs “Bona Bona”, “JikJin”, “Boy” and “Hello”, the 10-member boy group brought the whole arena on fire.

“I’m so happy to meet you, Philippine Treasure Makers, after a long time. Let us have some fun together. Let’s get crazy tonight!” leader Choi Hyunsuk said on their opening remarks.

He even gave a little shout-out to his mom, who was with their Filo Treasure Makers or Teumes, enjoying their incredible show.

Member Yoon Jae Hyuk also expressed, “I'm happy to have the concert in the Philippines tonight.  It’s just the beginning, so let's set the fire together. Let's go!”

The Reboot in Manila tour was made possible by local concert promoter Live Nation Philippines.

Filo Teumes can’t help but get even more hyped up with the group’s second set, consisting of the songs “B.L.T. (Bling Like This)” and “Stupid”, in which member Yoshi had an a cappella sing-along with the fans, and their song “MMM”.

Member Hyunsuk also reminisced about their last visit. Some of their members shared what they wanted to try in the Philippines.

“Actually it’s been a long time since we last visited Manila, right? Members, is there anything you want to try?”

“Sigaw (scream)!” member Yoshi confidently said, which Teumes was obliged to show off.

They then performed special stages for their subunits: “Move” by T5, “Thank You” by Asahi and Haruto, “G.O.A.T.” by their Rap unit and “VolKno” by Hyun Suk, Yoshi and Haruto.

They also had a special stage for their band 4Rise.

From the powerful hip-hop and rock songs, Treasure also serenaded their Filo Teumes with their vocal unit’s song “The Way To”, “Orange”, and “Hold It In”.

Besides the powerful and soothing performances, Treasure also made it  fun with their movie-like VCRs and cute roleplaying of hit Korean dramas such as Itaewon Class, Goblin, Fight For My Way, Crash Landing on You, Coffee Prince and more, before heading to their “Wonderland” stage.

“Philippine Treasure Makers are really powerful. Wow. Nice. Mahal Kita,” the members said, making the whole crowd scream and cheer as loud as they could.

The whole arena was also enveloped with blue lights as the boy group sang “I Want Your Love” and “I Love You”, prompting everyone to get to their feet.9

The night was made even more special with Filo Teumes’ surprises for Treasure, including singing along to their song “B.O.M. B.” from their second full album Reboot and a light tribute of blue, yellow and red for every tier, making the Philippine flag.

They also had a special cake and tribute for member Yoshi’s advance birthday celebration.

“I want to repay Teumes who gave their strength a lot by giving them 2x,3x of strength, it’s my goals… Please continue to watch us! Also, let’s stay forever! Let's stay forever! forever? thank you,” Yoshi said as translated by fans.

Treasure then performed “Run”, “Going Crazy”, “My Treasure”, “Clap!” and a rock version of their popular song “Darari”, making the fans go wild and crazy for the K-pop group’s two encores.

“Thank you so much, Philippine Treasure Makers! See you next time, okay? Bye bye. Mahal kita. See you! The best kayo!” the group said.

“Tulog na kayo,” Yoshi reminded before heading backstage.

The Manila leg ofTreasure Reboot is the first stop on their Asian tour. The boy group is set to head to various cities such as Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta as well.
