Despite her devout faith as a Catholic, the actress expressed her concern for those stuck in abusive relationships. She is hopeful that the bill will be signed and finalized soon as there are many other Filipinos who are also in favor of having the option of divorce.

“Sana mapirmahan na 'yan, ma-finalize na. Because unfortunately nga there are marriages na nagse-stay nga sila for the sake of the children, they stay married dahil wala silang ibang option, pero hindi na healthy for the family, not just for the marriage,” she shared.
