<p>Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria revealed in her Instagram post on June 9 that her marriage with ex-husband Pampi Lacson was finally annulled after 13 years of waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court. Maria</strong></a></div><p dir="ltr">“Finally after 13 years of waiting, my petition for nullity of marriage has been granted by the Supreme Court,” she wrote. </p><p dir="ltr">“The time I spent in His waiting room was never easy nor was it comfortable. It was frustrating, discouraging, and even heartbreaking. I cried, prayed, questioned, and complained. I made &#x27;tampo,&#x27; asked for forgiveness, prayed some more. I wanted to give up but He never let go of me,” she added.</p><div dir="ltr"><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2024/5/22/jodi-sta-maria-goes-on-a-trip-to-chile-1556"><strong>READ: Jodi Sta. Maria goes on a trip to Chile</strong></a></div><p dir="ltr">Jodi claimed that it was her faith that got her through the ordeal and is thankful that she waited as she saw the purpose of the 13-year wait for her annulment. </p><p dir="ltr">“God is never in a hurry. He is never too late. Never too early. Believe He is able to do something about your situation. Trust He has a plan for you and that plan is even better than the one you have for yourself,” she shared.</p><p dir="ltr">“And when God finally calls you out of the waiting room, don’t forget to thank Him and give Him all the glory,” she continued. </p><p dir="ltr">The Kapamilya actress then expressed her gratitude to everyone who made it possible–– from her prayer warriors up to the law firm that helped her get the results she wanted. </p><p dir="ltr">“Now I can finally say…CASE CLOSED,” she ended.</p><p dir="ltr">Meanwhile, friends of Jodi expressed their excitement for her new life after the decision was made. Pampi’s current partner, Iwa Moto, called for a celebration.</p><p dir="ltr">“Let’s celebrate 🥰 love you amor,” Iwa shared.</p><p dir="ltr">“Jodi! Congratulations! Your long wait is over! Big, big hug, anak! God’s timing is always so perfect! Love you,” Coney Reyes added.</p><p dir="ltr">Despite the separation, Jodi and Pampi reconciled and patched things up in 2013. They co-parent their son, Thirdy.</p>
