LJ Moreno shares family’s US journey after Jimmy Alapag became a coach for the NBA

<p>LJ Moreno opened up about her family&#x27;s journey after her husband Jimmy Alapag was hired as a coach for the NBA.</p><p>Jimmy is currently the player development coach for the Sacramento Kings.</p><p>In an interview for TFC&#x27;s <em>BRGY</em>, LJ shared that her husband&#x27;s schedule became more hectic following his appointment as an NBA coach.</p><p>&quot;I was definitely excited for him. I knew they would be busy but I didn&#x27;t realize how busy-busy until the season started,&quot; she recalled.</p><p>Despite the busy schedule, LJ relayed that NBA has been very supportive when it comes to the families of the coaches and the players.</p><p>&quot;The good thing about when he was promoted from G League to NBA, &#x27;yung sa big team, is okay &#x27;yung support ng team for the families. And then the [team of] coaches&#x27; wives had a dinner to welcome me and the other wide of another coach and they were just like, &#x27;Okay, just to warn you girls, you know, if you think the G League is busy, this is like a lot of busier. It&#x27;s funny because when the news came out here, everyone was congratulating [him] but he was actually doing laundry,&quot; she recounted.</p><p>The actress went on: &quot;If they only knew what our life like was here, so he&#x27;s in charge of laundry and siya naglalaba. Siya &#x27;yung magaling mag-plantsa kasi for some reason when I do it parang wala namang nangyayari. Siya na lang, siya yung magaling magtiklop and everything else I do.&quot;</p><p>&quot;But he also helps with the kids naman. That&#x27;s one thing with Jimmy, whenever he has time he makes it an effort na to help out.&quot;</p><p>LJ and Jimmy are set to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary this year.</p><p>When asked what are the keys to their successful marriage, LJ replied: &quot;One would be just having God at the center. And &#x27;yun we pray together, that&#x27;s like such a big thing, I think. &#x27;Cause I always joke about it but it is true.
