As the pandemic started, Jessy then focused on her personal life. She later on started her own family with husband Luis Manzano as they welcomed their daughter Rosie.</p><p>When asked what has changed in her through the years, Jessy shared that motherhood made her become more mature and opened up her perspective on life.</p><p>“I took a long break to heal and focus on my family. I’ve experienced many highs and lows in showbiz. Gusto ko magtry ng gray roles or like kontrabida or like, siyempre nanay naman na talaga ako, so mother roles. Sinasabi nga sa akin nina tatay, nina Direk Lauren (Dyogi), nina Kuya A, ‘Hindi pwede ka pa magleading lady’, sabi ko ‘Sige, why not? Pwede naman. Iba yung how they take care of their craft, kung paano nila aralin yung bawat taong makakaharap nila. I saw that Luis. I saw his dedication. Gusto ko siya makatrabaho sa ganoon naman kasi before palaging acting. Kung sa bagets naman, siguro, si Joshua (Garcia),” she also remarked.</p><p>Jessy also expressed how she wanted to work with Luis’s mom, seasoned actress Vilma Santos.</p><p>“Gusto ko makatrabaho yung mother-in-law ko eh,” she told the press.</p><p>As per Jessy, Vilma also felt the same about finally working with her on screen.</p><p>“Sobrang excited siya (para sa akin).
