From the iconic ripping of name tags to the funniest moments, South Korea's longest variety show, Running Man, proved how their show was able to ‘run’ after every Filo Runners’ heart after their successful second fan meeting last Saturday, July 6 at MOA Arena.

Presented by Pulp Live World, the six members - consisting of Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Haha, Song Ji Hyo and Yang Se Chan, brought their quirky personalities and talented sides that made the whole arena cheer and laugh their hearts out.

Here are some notable moments from Running Man 'Run 2 U' in Manila fan meeting:

Game Segments

Running Man wouldn't be the top variety show in South Korea without having the funny and challenging games.

In their fan meeting, the members were able to show how bright, strategic and competitive they were at guessing K-pop songs and dances, remembering their lines in the show and doing a relay with a twist.

One of the most memorable moments during the series of games they played was the cosplay relay where the members were divided into two groups - team Haha, Jae Suk and Jong Kook versus team Se Chan, Ji Hyo and Suk Jin.

The members were tasked to change into costumes such as a bunny, a bee, a baby, the Hulk and Snow White quickly. So eager were they to win that they ended up getting tangled up and wearing the costumes haphazardly, to the delight of their fans.

Lechon and Sisig

Besides their challenging games, Running Man is also known for their funny antics and their non-stop chatter. Filo Runners were able to witness this live during the fan meet.

One of the funniest banters during the show was about Suk Jin’s favorite Filipino food, which he said was a toss-up between sisig or lechon. Kapamilya star Ryan Bang joined in the lively conversation with the members as he playfully questioned if Suk Jin actually knew what he ate, and hinted that he might be labeled a ‘maritess’ (scandalmongering) if he stayed in the Philippines.

Solo and Unit stages

Running Man members also proved how talented they were with their incredible individual and unit performances as they showcased ther dancing and singing prowess in a concert-like show.

One of the unforgettable stages was Se Chan’s lip sync performance of Fredie Mercury's “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

The maknae (youngest) member of the show surprised the crowd as he went on stage impersonating the British singer-songwriter, complete with the instruments and his iconic mustache.

His powerful performance even made fans question whether he was really lip syncing or actually singing the song.

SpartAce moments

No need to edit a kilig fancam from the show's resident pair, Jong Kook and Ji Hyo, as they gave their fans the best night with their cute performance together.

During the unit stage performances, Jong Kook and Ji Hyo performed a sweet number of the Korean song “We Need To Talk” by The Jadu.

The two, who seemingly answered each other's queries through the lyrics, portrayed a couple who wanted to know where their relationship will lead them.

A bit of a spoiler in the number: Jong Kook kneels to Ji Hyo in the latter part of the song. The two then formed a shy heart before shyly exiting the stage, leaving the fans at the edge of their seats screaming their SpartAce hearts out.

Fan interaction

Running Man’s fan service is truly one of a kind as they allotted a lot of time during the fanmeet to meet and greet their Filo Runners personally.

During the encore, the members sang their self-composed song “I Like It”, a new song from their recent episodes, and Jong Kook’s song “Lovable”, while they were shaking hands with the fans.

The members even reached for their fans’ phones to take selfies and video, adding to the night’s priceless memories. They also signed some memorabilia handed to them and expressed gratitude to everyone who came to see them.

Haha, whose real name is Ha Dong Hoon, even came up to the barricade to be closer to their fans while he sang along with them and posed for the camera.

In their last ment, Jaesuk expressed the members' gratitude to the fans for their support and love for them all throughout the years.

“We can only look forward to the 15th year dahil sa inyong lahat. Salamat po dahil you made us be here where we are right now,” he expressed through the translator.
