<p>Vlogger Zeinab Harake and basketball player Ray Parks Jr. are now engaged, as revealed in a vlog posted on Sunday, July 7.</p><p>The couple&#x27;s announcement showcased a proposal surrounded by family and friends, including Zeinab’s two children.</p><p>Accompanied by their loved ones, Ray expressed his commitment to Zeinab, saying, “I am truly blessed to call you my best friend, my lover, and my biggest supporter. I want to continue to build a Christ-centered relationship in which I will lead and serve with the best of my abilities.”</p><p>He added, “Your genuine, loving, compassionate heart are the crown of your beauty. You and the kids are my home, and I can&#x27;t imagine life without y&#x27;all. Zeinab Harake, would you make me the happiest man in the world? Will you marry me?”</p><p>Zeinab explained her decision to say yes, highlighting her trust in Ray.</p><p>She shared, “Hindi ako naniniwala sa kasal na tao dahil na rin sa mga pinagdaanan ko pero nung dumating si Ray sa buhay ko, doon ko na-ano &#x27;yung sarili ko na magse-settle ako sa taong &#x27;to kasi nakikita ko sa kanya ang future na alam niyang maiintindihan niya ako kahit sa pinakamahirap na sitwasyon pa ng buhay namin.”</p><p>The couple marked their first year together last June. Ray even visited the resting place of Zeinab&#x27;s late sister Tara and her late son Moon, seeking their blessings as well.</p><p>During his visit to Zeinab’s parents, Ray received positive responses. Zeinab’s mom said, “Wala naman problema ‘yon sakin anak. Kung sino ang mahal ng anak ko, mahal ko rin.”</p><p>Her dad expressed his approval, stating, “From the first time I saw you, you are the guy I really hoped and wished for my daughter.”</p><p>Ray presented a large pear-shaped diamond ring for the proposal. He also had a smaller ring prepared for less formal occasions.</p><p>The engagement party took place at a mansion with an extravagant setup. Zeinab’s children, who were informed of the proposal beforehand, excitedly urged their mother to say yes.</p><p>As Zeinab arrived at the venue, she saw a large “MARRY ME” sign in the field. Zeinab said yes amidst tears, laughter, and cheers from their loved ones. The couple then shared a private moment indoors, where Zeinab emphasized the importance of their commitment, especially for the children.</p><p>Zeinab said she was taking a chance on their lives together because she believed in Ray and in their future.</p><p>“Buhay naming tatlo ng bata, binibigay ko sa&#x27;yo kasi naniniwala ako sa Diyos, sa&#x27;yo, and you deserve it”  she said. “Deserve mo ang yes.”</p><div><br/></div><p>— By Samantha Prats</p>
