Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo continues to receive recognitions for his remarkable achievements at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

In a Facebook post on August 15, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) announced that they were gifting Carlos with a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

In their post, TMP expressed their admiration for Carlos, stating, “We are honored to give Carlos Edriel P. Yulo, [his] very own Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.” They added, “We hope this vehicle helps bring you to greater heights. We are excited to see where your journeys can further take you.”

The car manufacturer also mentioned that they look forward to collaborating with Carlos on his advocacy, particularly his focus on food security for children in need.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, which was introduced to the Philippine market just last month, is a notable addition to the list of rewards Carlos has received. The vehicle is said to cost from ₱3.6 to ₱4.8 million starting price, depending on the model.

In addition to this, Carlos is set to receive a ₱10 million incentive for each of his two gold medals, as mandated by Section 8 of Republic Act 10699. This sum, totaling ₱20 million, will be provided by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

The House of Representatives will be awarding Carlos ₱14 million, while the City of Manila has announced a ₱2 million cash incentive. The city further plans to declare August 4 as “Carlos Yulo Day”, in honor of his Olympic success.

One of the most significant rewards Carlos has received is a three-bedroom condominium unit at McKinley Hill from Megaworld, valued at ₱32 million. The real estate developer also presented Carlos with an additional ₱3 million during his visit to the unit.
