Inka Magnaye shares lifestyle change after PCOS diagnosis

She recalled how different her lifestyle back then was, and admitted that she wasn’t making the best choices of her life as she engaged in drinking alcohol and skipping meals.</span></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:12pt;margin-bottom:12pt"><span style="background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“I used to scoff at the gym because I was thin without needing to exercise. Goes to show how limited my fitness knowledge was, haha! This was also back in 2011, when information about health and wellness wasn’t as easily accessible as they are today. This was the time when people still believed that skinny automatically meant healthy,” she wrote.</span></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:12pt;margin-bottom:12pt"><span style="background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“I ate processed food, didn’t regulate my sugar intake, I skipped meals, I drank alcohol 4 times a week, I finished a pack of cigarettes a day, I never exercised, I didn’t care about my sleep,” she shared candidly. </span></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:12pt;margin-bottom:12pt"><span style="background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">It came to a point when she had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery because one of the cysts in her ovaries burst. This was a wake-up call for her to begin changing her habits little by little.</span></div><div dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:12pt;margin-bottom:12pt"><span style="background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">“3 years clean of smoking and vaping (and going STRONG), I drink only occasionally and I don’t go overboard, I workout regularly, eat mindfully, get the proper amount of rest, AND I go to therapy! Do NOT use my success to push other people down. Let’s all hold each others’ hands and raise each other up,” she said.</span></div>
